Getting Closer to GodSample

The fourth thing we can do to have a closer relationship with God is to find a community of believers with whom we can regularly worship. This is a vital component of spiritual growth. Too often, we approach church with a “what can I get out of it?” mentality. Or we pretend we can be “good with God” without all the hassles of church.
The reality is we need to change our focus and think about what we can give God through worship. We should take the time to prepare our hearts and minds for worship. God invites us to come into His presence for worship. He has created us for community where we can be taught, encouraged, prayed for and held accountable. In other words, giving our hearts to God through praise and fellowship with other believers will help us grow closer to God.
About this Plan

You see spend time in conversation, listen well and open your heart. You sacrifice your own needs to fulfill theirs. Learn how these key ingredients work in becoming closer to God.
