Foolishness
"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." (1 Cor. 1:18). It is foolishness to people who cannot imagine a king would come and would die on a cross, but to us who are being saved, to those who put their trust in Jesus Christ—it's life-transforming.
This is a time to be still, to reflect on this theme for a few moments, to meditate on a passage from the bible and to pray together.
