Obey God's WaySample

DAY 1 OF 1
I obey what my parents say.
Why didn’t Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego eat the food the king offered to them? Their parents taught them to live God’s way, but the king didn’t worship God at all. If they ate the food, it would be like telling the king they wanted to be his friend and they were okay with all the wrong choices he made. Even though they would never see their parents again, Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego chose to obey what their parents said. Showing that they belonged to God was more important to them than fitting in with everyone else by eating the king’s food.
Tell Someone: Would you be able to obey like Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego did to show you belong to God? Why or why not?
