Waiting always faces us with our lack of control – praise God for his timing and that he has set eternity in our hearts.
Anyone who has given birth knows that waiting is key. The usual time for birth is nine months after conception. To shortcut this process means that either the baby might not survive or that it would not be fully formed. Yet waiting is not passive – it requires preparation to receive the gift of new life.
