WISDOM FOR LIVING
This passage uses a literary device (speaking to each of us as if we were children being instructed by Godly parents) to remind us that much wisdom for living comes from following the good advice many would get from their parents into their adult years.
Three important lessons from the passage.
First, true success comes from doing the good things we are taught to do.
Secondly, there will always be people who encourage you to do wrong, by offering excitement and profit from doing things that are wrong.
Finally, the path of wrongdoing always leads to the destruction of those following the path. If you are right now being tempted by others to do wrong, reject that temptation and stay righteous!

About this Plan

Although the Proverbs seems like a loosely composed wisdom sayings, on a whole they actually present Christians with an opportunity to contemplate Christ who is wisdom in the flesh. The Proverbs that are selected invites you to a practice of 'ora et labora' , we contemplate Christ and work in his world—the essence of Christian life.
