Prayers And Promises For Financial Breakthrough

DAY 4 OF 6

God's Favor

Favor. If a person has the favor of God on His life, anything can happen. Amazing things will happen to those around him also. Some people seem to be kissed by God—things just always seem to go well for them. Whatever they attempt, they succeed at doing! Even their poor choices or wrong decisions seem to work out for the best for them in the end. Their small victories seem to birth greater blessings than the triumphs of other people. They aren’t smarter than others. They don’t necessarily work harder either, but the work they do accomplish is miraculously multiplied, whether others realize it or not.

Would you recognize the favor of God on someone else’s life if you met them? It is clear from these verses that Moses thought of the favor of God as a divine power that caused any human effort to be done exceptionally well and to be of lasting value to the worker. If a workman is worthy of his wages, the favor of God ensures that he receives those wages and more. That is the favor of God!

Father, I ardently desire that your favor be on my life and all my work. I want to be the kind of person upon whom your favor can rest and stay. Establish the work of my hands. Amen.
