Nothing Else Matters

God is always calling us to Himself. 

There are many things in life that can try to silence that calling, like the different distractions that come our way on a daily basis, yet He still calls for us to come. To come as we are, unashamed and expectant that He will respond to us. 

When I wrote the song ‘Nothing Else Matters’, I did so because they were words that I wanted my heart to echo. 

As I sing this song, I sing it is as a prayer of surrender. While I fight the constant desire for the things of the world, assured that it is far more beneficial to be close to the Father, than being apart from Him. 

There has to come a time in a believer’s journey where they choose the Lord each day above everything else, to see true change in their lives from the inside out. With an understanding that there is nothing that compares to knowing Jesus, there is nothing that is more important and nothing else that can bring true wholeness and purpose like Him. 

Prayer: Lord, I say yes to you in this moment. I surrender every part of me and ask for you to be Lord of my life. Give me the grace to seek you wholeheartedly, Amen.
