“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life” (the Bible, Psalm 23:6)
Goodness is what Jesus desires for you and your life...He wants to bless you, fill you, cause you to rejoice, help you succeed…
Mercy is also what Jesus desires to do through you and your life...helping you to give grace, extend forgiveness, release His life and peace…
- Goodness is a promise, for you love the Lord and are called by Him. Things will work together for your good: “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.” (the Bible, Romans 8:28)
- You will also be blessed as you extend the mercy that was given to you: “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” (the Bible, Matthew 5:7)
