TALK // Sometimes when people hear the word “Christian,” they immediately think “boring.” But that definitely doesn’t have to be the case. In fact, sometimes being a Christian means raising a ruckus and causing trouble—in a good way. Things like standing up for people who need it, speaking up when it’s easier to keep quiet, being bold when it’d be easier to go with the crowd, and serving when it’s more comfortable to stay home. That is the way Paul and Silas lived, and this is the way we’re called to live, too. It’s not a boring way to live, it’s a bold way to live. How can you and your small group make a ruckus and have an impact in your community? Start a group text to talk about it.

About this Plan

As followers of Jesus, we’re part of a movement that began thousands of years ago—a movement that’s still alive today! It’s called the church. In this reading plan, we’ll explore exactly how the early church began this movement. As we do, we’ll discover that, like them, we can move forward further and faster when we’re following Jesus together.
