Scripture Retreat With Elizabeth GeorgeSample

“I’ve tried! But reading my Bible and praying every day are not possible with my schedule.” Have you ever said this? Can you relate? Well, take heart. Here are some keys that can help you strengthen and keep the discipline of Bible study and prayer.
- Refuse to skip a day of study. God’s Word is at the heart of every woman who loves God . . . even a busy woman like you.
- Ask God to open your eyes and heart to His truths.
- Make yourself accountable to Christian friends or find a diligent prayer partner.
- Get up early before everyone makes demands on your time.
- Remember, something is better than nothing.
- Always aim for more!
By Your grace I can do this, Lord. I want to dedicate some time every day to learning more about You. Help me deal with distractions. Show me ways to isolate myself so I can focus completely on You, my wonderful Lord. Amen.
