Are You Stuck? How to Conquer IndecisionSample
The Rest of the Story
One day, about two years later, I got an 'update' note from Sheri. She told me that two years after the time I had encouraged her to keep seeking God -- and He had reminded her about forgiving her husband and his family -- now many doors of ministry have opened up to her. And best of all, her husband is going to church regularly! She said, and I quote, "I've never been happier in all my life."
I was so thrilled to hear her testimony! It all happened because she took the time with God and got a new perspective when she felt stuck. I believe the same thing can happen for you and me when we spend time seeking God.
I wonder how many times we are stuck in indecision and it is affecting our lives and our calling? If you are born again, you have a calling from God. He has such a good plan for each of us, and if we are not following His guidance and choices for our lives, we are not only miserable, but we might be missing out on His good plan for us.
Jeremiah 29:ll TLB says, “I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” If you are stuck today, just remember that! You have a bright future. Spending time in His presence will reveal it to you.
If there's anything I've learned, it's to keep going when I feel stuck or things look hopeless. Nothing is hopeless when you know the Lord and when you’re willing to dig into the Word and pray! There's an answer, a completely new perspective awaiting, and God knows what it is. He loves you, and He wants to guide you into His perfect plan.
