Says Who?Sample

Whether it’s a parent, sibling, teacher, or coach, we all have people who are in authority over us. Have you ever thought about the fact that they may have been placed in authority over you for a reason? Maybe, just maybe, it’s because they have more life experience and knowledge than you do. Does knowing that change your mind and your attitude toward those individuals? It does for me! There’s value in listening to and learning from people who have gone before us and want to help us as we grow the way they once did. Instead of ignoring advice or assuming you know best, think about an area of your life in which you could gain wisdom from an adult or Small Group Leader today. Then, ask them for a little help!
