Everybody likes to be recognized for the good things they’ve done. It feels good to win an award, or be applauded in front of others, or even to just receive a compliment. In those moments, it’s important to remember that all we have is from God. That means the brains that helped us win the awards, the abilities that helped us receive the praise, or the qualities that others compliment are all ours because God gave them to us. What is one thing you’re really good at? Something you receive praise or compliments for? Thank God for giving you that quality or skill and ask Him to help you remember that it’s all from Him.

About this Plan
This is a five-week reading plan is about following the Greatest Commandment by loving God, others, and ourselves. We will be learning that what we’re for is more important than what we’re against; getting to know Jesus is how we get to know God; our value is determined by God; everyone matters to Jesus, so everyone should matter to us; and a relationship with Jesus fuels our love for God, others, and ourselves.
