We know the Bible is God's word because of the prophecies it foretold, and the fulfillment of those prophecies.

1. The very powerful Babylonian empire would become a desolation. …It is. (Isaiah 13:19-20, 739BC – 681BC) In that day, it would be like saying the United States of America will disappear and become a dust bowl.
2. The rich and powerful Egyptian empire would become a weak kingdom. …It is. (Ezekiel 29:14-15, 593BC – 571BC)
3. The mighty city of Nineveh would be hidden, buried and lost. (Nahum 3:7,11, 612BC)
4. Jerusalem will fall and be trodden by Gentiles. (Luke 21:24) Luke was written before 60AD. The Romans came and destroyed Jerusalem and the temple in 70AD.
Only God could have foretold such things!
