This Lasting Joy Comes When YouSample

What Happens When We Don't Give Up Sin
Remember, God told His people who chased temporary pleasures by having sex with the prostitutes in the Baal temple this: "Ephraim, how could I part with you? Israel, how could I give you up?" (Hos. 4:12; 11:8). But the same book teaches us this: the love of God for us when we refuse to give up sin, should move us to give up sin using the incredible example of Prophet Hosea’s love for his wife who in-turn loved adultery and his consequent call for her repentance after he rescued her from a brothel she willingly went to (Hos. 3:1–3).
So can we continue to be stubbornly in sin, so that God can keep loving us? No! Why? A time will come when God will give up on us if we stubbornly give ourselves to the chasing of the sinful pleasures of sin (See Rom. 1:24, 26).
So, let's give up sinful pleasures before that happens and fully soak in His amazing love—the amazing love of God. Let’s do it right now! That’s the biblical way of experiencing lasting joy!
