Dog Daze Of Summer

DAY 1 OF 5

Keep the Moon in the Window

In 1969, the the Apollo 13 spacecraft had an onboard explosion while en route to the moon. To save energy, the astronauts turned off their computerized navigation. They reached their desired destination by keeping their focus in the right place. We also see this idea talked about in Scripture. The apostle Paul talked often about his plans and focus. Jesus always knew He was going to the cross. Similarly, it is important that our focus and priorities are on the right things. In this video segment with Bob Goff, he talks about how to do that.

It is easy to get stuck in a routine - we keep doing the same things over and over. We need to break out of the routines and ask if we are doing what God wants us to do. Otherwise we can enter into a daze where we live life without thought or intent. A time of transition provides a good opportunity to assess if you are doing what God wants. Ask yourself, "Is my focus in the right place?"

Day 2

About this Plan

Dog Daze Of Summer

The “dog days of summer” phrase describes the time of year when it is hot and the summer is winding down. A big change of schedule is often right around the corner. Before you begin a new routine, why not hit the pause button to reflect on your walk with God? This five-day video plan includes short video segments (2-3 minutes) to help you head back to work or school.
