Psalm 94:17-19
O God, You are my helper. I am a weak and defenseless creature who desperately needs saving! Thank You for not overlooking me when I cry out to You ... I waited patiently for You; and You inclined to me, and heard my cry. You brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay; You set my feet upon a rock making my footsteps firm. You put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to You. O God because of Your saving love, my soul will no longer be silent! Hear me sing, "Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul ..." For Your Holy Spirit, my helper, now dwells in me forever! You make my gloomy thoughts, joy; You make my anxious thoughts, peace; You make my simple thoughts, wise. O God, Your wonderful ways delight my soul!
