I hope through this Bible study the gospel has stirred an awakening in your soul that has unsettled the rhythms of your life and has sparked Christ-centered transformation in you. Through the gospel God has been renovating every corner of my life, and He isn’t finished yet. The deeper I go into the gospel, the more I find myself changed by it. 

I hope this will be your story as well. And I hope it isn’t just your story but also the story of the church. The reality is that the church is at a crossroads. In the next fifty years the church in the English-speaking world will look drastically different than it does now. Either it will continue its decline, or a new awakening will occur that will bring with it salvation and hope in a wave that hasn’t been seen in three generations. 

I believe the latter can happen, and it will begin when we individually and corporately begin to immerse ourselves in the gospel. Christian growth usually isn’t learning something new but going deeper in what you already know. Many of us know gospel doctrines, but we’ve never been ravished by them.
