 You can't hide from God 

The beauty of God´s Word is that when we read a familiar verse, God reveals a richer, deeper meaning depending on the season we’re in. Has it happened to you? Suddenly, a verse we have read a million times comes alive on the page of our Bible and we find a new application for it.  When we spend time in God´s Word, life starts making sense. 

God´s Word is living and active. It gives us new perspective. It helps us discern what´s right and what´s wrong. It gives us full view of our sin. 

God´s Word is sharper than any two-edged sword – it penetrates and exposes our inner heart. God sees our hearts and His Word lets us see it too. “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17:9). 

Dear friend, under the light of God´s Word, we all are naked and exposed to the eyes of the Lord. We can try to ignore our sin and to deceive ourselves, but the Holy Spirit empowers the ministry of the Word to do deep work in our hearts. Are you in God´s Word in a daily basis? 

Dear Father, thank You for Your living and active Word that gives light to the darkest corner of my heart. Help me remember that nothing in my heart, soul, or mind can be hidden from You. Amen.
