PRAY // Okay, this verse sounds a little crazy at first. How can troubles actually bring us joy? But according to James, Jesus’ brother, it’s true. How? Because God can use troubles to our advantage. This happens when our faith in God gets stronger as the result of staying close to Him throughout our tough situations. This is why troubles are actually opportunity for joy: We can view them as opportunities to grow closer to God. Today, ask God to show you how your difficult circumstances can draw you close to Him. Ask Him to help you find joy through whatever you’re facing as He strengthens your faith in Him.
