The Lord reigns! Solomon has written 1,005 songs and exalts God’s wisdom in proverbs, stressing the value of wisdom and taking care with words. He warns against accepting another’s debts. Asaph also writes songs such as Ps 50: ‘Out of Zion … God shines forth ... the heavens declare His righteous judgments ... God rebukes insincere offerings.’
