Jesus did not just come into this world just to save us from our sins. He came to conquer death, destruction, disease, and any other foul thing the enemy would try to defeat us with. My favorite line of “O Holy Night” is “And in His name, all oppression shall cease.” There is power in the name of Jesus. As Jesus was dying on the cross, the wrath of God was poured out upon him. He became sin itself. When He arose and our enemy was defeated, Jesus gave us life abundantly. This means we don’t have to live a life overwhelmed by depression! This means there is healing from all disease in Christ Jesus! This means we are set free from any chains that would try to hold us down! If you need breakthrough in your life, call on the Name above every other name. Take hold of the promises Jesus has given you. Let the power of the cross wash over you and Jesus’ blood to cover you, setting you completely free.
