Bad Girls Rehab: Sexual SinSample

Pain
I don’t think you can find one woman who has not experienced pain due to sexual sin. The pain pushes us to either trust God for deliverance or we accept the enemy’s lies and remain in our cycle of sin.
For example, the “Woman at the well” was known for sexual sin. That sexual sin probably caused her some amount of pain and even shame as we know her timing in coming to the well was to avoid interaction with others. However, she has this chance encounter with Christ and she made a decision to trust. The same can be said for the woman who was caught in adultery. We may not know the end of their stories, but we do know they were in pain and because of God’s love for us he brought them to a crossroads by meeting Jesus.
The same is true for us women today. The pain we have endured due to sexual sin and accepting the enemy’s lies concerning sex can be forgiven by surrendering to Christ. Right now you are at the same crossroads as the above mentioned women. You have the choice to continue in your sexual sin or walk obediently in God’s ways. It’s not easy, but because Jesus has risen you fight from a position of victory.
