FEARLESS - Boldly Pursuing Jesus And His MissionSample

FEARLESS - Boldly Pursuing Jesus And His Mission

DAY 15 OF 15

God calls us to be fearless for the sake of others.

God gave Abraham a promise that he would be a father of many, and that he would be a blessing to the nations. Because of that promise, God looped Abraham in on a concern involving Sodom and Gomorrah. The two cities were radically immoral, broken, and messed up. After God gave careful consideration, He came to the difficult conclusion that the world was better without the two cities. Abraham’s nephew, Lot, and his family had settled in the city of Sodom. Concerned for his nephew, and all the people of both cities, Abraham advocated for them in front of God.

How far would you go to save someone? How far would you go to save your city? How far would you go to let someone know they are deeply loved by Jesus? The greatest way we can be FEARLESS is when we’re FEARLESS for others.

Jesus was FEARLESS for us. Romans says that “while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” He became our advocate, paid the penalty of our sin, so that all who place their trust in Him can find life. Because Jesus has been FEARLESS for us, let’s advocate and be FEARLESS for the sake of others.

Who can you be FEARLESS for today?

Day 14

About this Plan

FEARLESS - Boldly Pursuing Jesus And His Mission

God has given His people a purpose: to connect everyone to Jesus and his mission. In order to pursue the mission of Jesus, we cannot have a faith that is timid or cowardly. As we spend time looking at the life of Abraham, a man of courageous faith and sacrificial obedience, we will be challenged to be FEARLESS for the mission of Jesus.
