This boy’s father so desperately wanted to believe that Jesus could cure his son, but there was a part of him that doubted. Do you ever find yourself wanting to believe that something apparently impossible is possible through God, but doubting? Perhaps he doubted whether Jesus actually could cure him, or perhaps he doubted whether Jesus wanted to cure him. In any case, it is important to remember that everything is possible for one who believes and that even the ability to believe is a gift from God.

Pray: Dear Lord God, please help to strengthen and sustain my faith in the knowledge and trust that all things are possible through you. Amen.

About this Plan
The irritating benefit of hindsight is that it is often easier to see why we should have listened to biblical wisdom when we suffer through trials and difficulties. The one thing I keep learning is that the wisdom was there all along; I just needed to look for it. It is one thing to have faith in your head. It is quite another to live out that faith in your heart, day by day.
