Oh God my God- 

How little I comprehend Your being. 

My vision is misted over;

a dense fog lies between us. 

I see only the faintest ray of your vast sun. 

Your magnitude is hidden

from my earthly eyes. 

Your glory

I only know in part. 

I try and fail

to grasp You fully. 

Understanding lies perpetually beyond my reach. 

How I long for the day

of our meeting,

to finally see You

without human hindrance. 

Then I will be able 

to praise You more truly.
