THE OTHERS

We constantly find ourselves looking at pictures of celebrities. The life that shows up on social media seems more interesting than our own life. For a moment, we even imagine how good it would be to have everything the other has, or do what the other does. Some people go even further, wondering what it would be like to be someone else. We spend hours researching everything about the life of other people. We give our point of view, opinions, and come to our own conclusions. It's like we are in a "pause" of our own reality. 

The hard part is when the "play" begins as it causes reality to seem dull. Our bodies look uglier, our talents seem small, and our lives seem so... ordinary. 

Magazines, influencers, blogs, trends. The beautiful is defined. Success is prescribed. The different is provided. Even when society shouts comparison, God whispers acceptance.
