Delight In Jesus Daily
The Bible tells us, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly” (Psalm 1:1). This means that while there is some wisdom in ungodly or worldly counsel, the blessed man doesn’t depend on it nor walk in it. On the contrary, his delight is in God’s Word, which is the person of Jesus (Psalm 1:2, John 1:14). This means that he seeks and depends on the Lord’s counsel.
So let your delight be in Jesus. See Him in every page of the Bible as you meditate on God’s Word day and night. Allow Him to strengthen, counsel and lead you.
Beloved, be wary of seeking and following ungodly counsel that promises quick short-term gains that could do you more harm than good in the long run. Instead, delight yourself in Jesus and His counsel, and you’ll bring forth fruit in season, your leaf (your health) will not wither and whatever you do shall be abundantly blessed!
