Let's Celebrate The True Christmas!Sample

Grace is a person
For us, as disciples of Jesus, Christmas time is an opportunity to celebrate God’s mercy and grace that are new every morning. As this carol says…
“Silent night! Holy night!
Son of God, love’s pure light
Radiant beams from Thy Holy Face
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at Thy Birth!
Jesus, Lord, at Thy Birth!”
The miracle of Christmas is the miracle of the incarnation! This slightly strange word means that God Himself became human to join us in our reality. Read about it in John 1:14.
Christmas is not a concept. Christmas is not the celebration of a philosophy, a doctrine, or even a theology.
- Christmas is a person
- Grace is a person
- Truth is a person
- The way is a person
- Life is a person
In the person of Jesus, we find access to the infinite love of God, our Father. It’s tremendous to study the Bible, marvelous to explore theology, and very helpful to know verses by heart. But this will never replace the spiritual mystery of the person of Jesus, who is the Word of God Himself, the Word incarnate.
God didn’t come to give us a doctrine...He came to give Himself, in person! He is love incarnate, and He is your Savior.
Let’s glorify Him in praise together!
Thanks for existing!

About this Plan

Everywhere, festive lights illuminate the streets, the fragrance of pine and cinnamon fills the air, and for several weeks, Christmas carols have returned to the radio. Each of these carols seems more beautiful than the last, and this week I’d like to (re)discover these lyrics that magnify the person of Jesus, our Savior.
