Kairos - God’s Appointed Time to Act

DAY 10 OF 21

Sing unto the Lord a new song!

The Scriptures often calls us to write and sing new songs. God loves it when we articulate our praise in our own words and our own songs. Here's one Psalm I wrote for the lover of my soul:

Oh! my Sovereign Lord

I bless your Holy name.

Your Kingdom is eternal

Your words, as priceless as pearls

Your favour is beyond any riches.

Oh Lord! my Father,

Perfect is your timing.

You came at the right time,

When I was losing my innocence; and

Drifting away from your ways

You pulled me out of dirt and

Gave me a shelter to protect me and my household

Abba Father, I cannot repay your mercy;

I can only give you thanks.

There is no God like you, who calls me a friend.

You protect me and crush my enemies;

You go before me.

I am always surrounded by your presence,

You made me fearless in every situation.

You shield me from my temptations

and keep me away from the wicked ways of the world.

You swiftly helped me escape from it

The world talks about being independent;

But Oh my Lord!

I always want to depend on you.

I always rejoice in your sweet personal covenant with me,

For I know you will never leave me.

You are the Great I AM, the Almighty God!

Today why don’t you take some time off and write your own love song for Jesus? And the best part is – you don’t need a special skill or talent here, all you need is to fall in love with Him!
