Trending: When You Are HurtingSample

Think back to the biggest battle you’ve ever seen. Maybe in a movie, or TV show, or even a scene in a book. Two armies pitted against each other and ready to fight it out. It’s long, exhausting, scary, and at times, defeating. Sometimes the battles we fight in our own lives feel exactly the same way! Fighting through a difficult circumstance, negative feeling, or just plain hard day can feel like the biggest battle of our lives while we’re fighting it. And in the middle of it, it’s hard to see beyond what’s right in front of us—what we’re feeling, thinking, or experiencing right then. But what this verse reminds us is that because of God, all our battles have already been won. When we live with Christ, the victory is already ours. Because we have access to a God who is bigger and greater than any enemy, feeling, circumstance, or battle we’re fighting through. Is there a battle you’re fighting in your life right now? Pray that God would help you see the victory in that fight this week.
