God’s no will save you pain.
When I look back at the rejections I received, I can see that each one saved me from a pain I couldn’t see at the moment.
The pain may have been financial trouble, relational turmoil, or unnecessary risk.
I couldn’t understand it in the moment, but afterward, down the road and past the short-term pain of hearing another no, I could see the benefit and thank God for His abundant wisdom.
God’s no is always, always, always for your good.
