Kindred: The Cost of Loving JesusSample

The Holy Spirit didn’t just enable Peter to preach the Gospel; He enabled Peter to heal a lame man. Peter followed through on His commitment to feed Jesus’ sheep, and Jesus followed through on His commitment to help.
In the end, many people were affected. Peter could never have anticipated the far-reaching effect of his obedience. Likewise, those who choose to disobey can’t possibly estimate the far-reaching effect of their disobedience.
If you keep your eyes open and your heart willing, God will give you opportunities to love and serve others. When you take those opportunities, God will do more than you can imagine.
Thank God for opportunities to represent Him well by loving and serving others.

About this Plan

Loving Jesus isn’t all sunshine, roses, and worship songs. Doing it properly takes time, effort, and sacrifice, and God doesn’t accept half-hearted worship. You’re either all in or all out. Fortunately, you don’t have to go it alone. In this study, discover what God expects from those who wish to serve Him and how He expects us to accomplish it.
