As the early church grew, it met opposition and hardship. Christians were persecuted. Still, they pressed on, happy to have made such a difference that those who opposed Jesus would want to oppose them. They considered it an honor to suffer as the Son of God had suffered.
Thank God for the honor of suffering on Jesus’ behalf and for giving you the grace to endure it even if it gets really bad.
