Undiscovered Territory: Discovering God Through PraySample

After Jesus had gone back into Heaven, the disciples were left on earth to continue the ministry that Jesus started with the help of the Holy Spirit, who was the Comforter that Jesus had promised. Peter and John were arrested and questioned. How scary that must have been to face opposition so quickly! Even so, they responded appropriately.
They prayed. In their prayer, they demonstrated faith in God’s promises and asked Him for help in accomplishing His purposes. Their motives were pure, their consciences were clear, and their request lined up with God’s will. How could God possibly say ‘no’?
God gave them everything they asked for.
Thank God for doing His part when you do yours.
