Visual Journaling Your Goals With Scripture

DAY 2 OF 7

I'm so glad you're a part of this 7-Day experience of visually journaling your goals! Today's the second day and all about aligning with God's vision for your life.

It's easy to think that it's all up to God or that it's all up to you but in reality, it's a cooperative process that the Holy Spirit walks us through.

Proverbs 16:9 ESV says, "The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps." (emphasis mine)

That means you and I have a part to play in this process! It's our job to connect our heart to His, to dream, to desire, to imagine and then to lay it all down before Him and say, "Father, lead me. Establish my steps according to your best for my life. Use me for your Glory in Your Kingdom. On earth as it is in heaven."

This may be a new concept for you but believe me, as you begin to activate the dreams and desires inside your heart empowered by the Holy Spirit, you're going to see God show up in your life like never before!

And that's what today is all about.

Take time to meditate on the scripture for today and then ask the Lord to show you what He has for you this year. Don’t judge it, just write it down in as much detail as He shows you. After brainstorming, develop one specific goal in your personal, spiritual, creative, physical and art business or ministry life.

Having trouble? Think of things you want to achieve, change or master this year. Brainstorm a huge list. Take time to doodle around and over what you’ve written with paint, markers or colored pencils. Celebrate with color! Enhance key words that stand out to you as anchors by prayerfully going back and circling the ones that resonate most with you.

When you're finished, share your journal with a friend or on social media.
