Isaiah warns Judah (Southern Kingdom) to receive either God or the sword. In 759 BC Uzziah dies and Jotham, his son, rules – honoring God, yet not removing the high places. Micah begins prophesying that armies will invade Judah and exile her people. God starts to stir Aram/Syria and Israel against Judah.
