Alive & ActiveSample

The Bible should be the loudest voice that speaks and forms our identity. Not our friends, not social media. Who you are and your purpose in life is found in one person, Jesus Christ and one way that he reveals it to us is through his Word. As you read Ephesians chapters 1 to 5, Paul establishes what you are before he establishes what you are called to do (chapter 6). Notice in chapter 1, verses 3-5, what it says about your identity. It says you are blessed in the heavenly realm with every spiritual blessing, you were chosen before you were born, you are holy, you are blameless. As you study the Word and the declarations of who you are in him, it will give you strength to stand against the lies of the enemy, it will be your truth in prayer, it will change your thoughts about yourself, and it will establish your identity in him alone.
Question: What is one identity statement in Ephesians that you can stand on this week and meditate on the verse?

About this Plan

Alive and active are two incredible words, but would you say they are words that describe your Bible reading time? Or is your Bible reading time more sporadic and inconsistent, or disciplined and boring? Let your Bible come alive, transforming your thinking, setting you free, making you laugh, let it be all it is supposed to be.
