Wisdom Of The Teacher For College Students, Ch. 7Sample

Wisdom Of The Teacher For College Students, Ch. 7

DAY 5 OF 5

In some ways these verses wrap up much more than this chapter. It could be that this is the summation of the entire search of the Teacher that began in the first chapter. The wisest of all humanity, could not attain absolute wisdom.

Maybe that makes you abandon the search. Maybe that makes you have hope that if the Teacher couldn’t get it fully, then you aren’t so terrible after all. Or maybe you are somewhere in between in your search for meaning and purpose in life.

Those who seek to please God escape the snares of the wicked. However, the Teacher has found few of these among his peers. It appears the road to life has always been narrow and few are those who find it as we read in the New Testament.

However, we should not blame God for this. The Teacher points out that God made man upright, but we have chosen to do our own thing and rebel against Him, leading to our demise. Our search for the meaning of life often leads us down the path that leads away from the genuine source of that life, our Creator God!

Day 4

About this Plan

Wisdom Of The Teacher For College Students, Ch. 7

In this chapter we discover the summation of the Teacher's search of wisdom. There is a hidden gem within these verses that help us learn our place in our relationship with God. We can also learn how to rightly look at the truth of who we are as men and women that might help us relate to our friends and neighbors who don't yet know God.
