Strategy For The StruggleSample

Bubbled Up
“Words of wisdom are like a fresh flowing brook –
Like deep waters that spring forth from within,
Bubbling up inside the one with understanding.” Proverbs 18:4
I have been stirred by Proverbs since we began this journey.
I am reminded again as I read this verse about what God revealed to me at the start of Proverbs
This is my journal entry,
“Let our lives be a film on display that glorifies our Father. May we live life unafraid of the things that comes our way – but allow God to give us His boldness & strength in all that we do.
Let the rivers of living water burst out of our limbs to nourish the villages on the pathways we walk.”
I had begun to weep before God at that point.
I felt broken in a sense for those that don’t know God. But also, in the same sense, felt the hurt God feels for His children that haven’t yet returned home. I was overwhelmed/afraid in spreading the good news that Jesus came to save His Father’s children. Afraid of saying and doing the wrong things. Then, God reminded me:
2 Cor 12:9 (TPT) – “My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.” So, I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me.”
All I need to do is be who God has created me to be, and God does the rest!
Recently I facilitated a school function at the church building and there were a lot of technical difficulties. In the midst of my heightened emotions and anxiety about the event and struggling with the fact that I couldn’t help with the problems, God was at work in and through me! One of the women at the event engaged with me in conversation. She began to ask questions about church and why I do what I do. I simply told her why and “words of wisdom…bubbled up” and she met Jesus!
I received an email later that week and she said she wants to come to church to see and learn more about Jesus.
“Let the rivers of living water burst out of our limbs to nourish the villages on the pathways we walk.”
