Love Your Husband ChallengeSample
10 Scriptures to pray for your Husband:
1. Pray that your husband would know the depth of God’s love for him. Ephesians 3:18: “That you may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”
2. Pray that your husband lives in accordance with God’s plan for his life. Ephesians 4:1-2: “I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love.”
3. Pray that the Lord would bless your husband’s work. Proverbs 22:29: “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”
4. Pray that God would make him a man of integrity. Proverbs 11:3: “The integrity of the upright will guide them, but the perversity of the unfaithful will destroy them.”
5. Pray that God would strengthen him to resist temptation. 1 Corinthians 10:13: “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.”
6. Pray that your husband would desire wisdom and seek it diligently. James 1:5: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”
7. Pray that your husband would trust in the Lord for his strength. Psalm 28:7: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.”
8. Pray that your husband will surround himself with godly friends and wise mentors. Proverbs 13:20: “He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be destroyed.”
9. Pray that he would be full of patience and peace. Romans 14:19: “Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.”
10. Pray for your husband to love you and your children with the love of Jesus. John 13:34: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
