Did you know there’s a difference between your needs and your wants? While there’s nothing wrong with wanting more than you actually need, it’s important to remember that God promises to provide for all of our needs. In fact, He’s already met your greatest need—the need for relationship with Him. Because of what Jesus’ death on the cross did to forgive our sins, we have access to the God who created and loves us. When you feel discouraged or afraid that God won’t meet your needs, remember that He has not only promised to provide for you, but He’s already given you Jesus to meet your deepest need. Take some time this week to worship God. Maybe listen to music, journal, or simply pray, thanking God for meeting your needs through Jesus.
