DAY 4 OF 15

How often do you pay attention to what you say?

Words are powerful. They can be “foul or abusive” or “good and helpful,” sometimes all in the same sentence. When you think about it, maybe you’ve fallen into the habit of using “foul or abusive” words. But over time, you can change your habits.

Here’s how to start: The next chance you get to encourage someone, take it. Whether it’s a friend, parent, or sibling . . . If you see a chance to encourage, be bold enough to say something. Over time, words of encouragement can become a new healthy habit in your life.

About this Plan

Underrated

Have you ever felt underrated or underestimated because of your age? It’s a terrible feeling—as if, because you’re still a teenager, you can’t get this life or faith thing right yet. In this reading plan, as we look at what was said to a young church leader named Timothy, we’ll find that when it comes to our faith, instead of being underrated, we can own it.
