The Magnificence Of Christ In The PsalmsSample
The Helper of the Fatherless
Dear Father, I am deeply grateful that Jesus is the great Helper (Father) of the Fatherless (helpless). I exalt Him that He has ALL Your power to help the helpless, ALL knowledge to know what the helpless need, ALL mercy to comfort and care for us; and He hears ALL our cries. I love what the prophet Hosea says in chapter 14 verse 3, “Assyria cannot save us; we will not mount warhorses. We will never again say ‘Our gods’ to what our own hands have made, for in you the fatherless find compassion.”
Thank You that Christ is filled with Your unfathomable love and goodness towards the fatherless, and, in His perfect time, He also calls wicked and evil people to account for oppressing the helpless. I give myself wholly to the Helper of the Fatherless, resting in His arms as a little child. I pray that the whole Church will become completely dependent upon Him, and may all the fatherless everywhere find their way to Him. I pray these things in His protective name.

About this Plan
Each daily devotional has a different name or attribute of God from the Psalms that is ultimately fulfilled in Christ. You will read the Psalm with Christ's name in it, then worship Him and pray for His Lordship of your life based upon His name of the day. Hopefully, this will help you know Christ more and love Him more. All Scripture used is from the NIV Bible.
