Six Steps To Your Best Leadership

DAY 7 OF 7

Now Do It

Don’t finish this Bible Plan without doing something about it. Leaders take action on information that leads to transformation. What exactly is your next step? God stands ready to do more than you could ever ask, think, or imagine, through His power that is at work.

  1. A Discipline to Start: When you know who you are, or who you want to become, you’ll know what to do. Based on who you want to become, what discipline do you need to start?
  2. The Courage to Stop: Based on who you want to become, what do you need the courage to stop? Don’t just think about negative things. You might need to stop doing something important and give it away to someone else.
  3. A Person to Empower: Who will you empower? Don’t become the lid for the people you lead. Maybe you’ll even empower someone to do something important that you had the courage to stop.
  4. A System to Create: Where do you see tension? Where are problems organizationally? What system do you need to create to get the result you want?
  5. A Relationship to Initiate: Based on who you want to become, who do you need to meet? What relationship do you need to initiate? You could be one relationship away from changing the course of your destiny.
  6. A Risk You Need to Take: Based on who you want to become and what you want to do, what risk do you need to take? If you always wait until you’re ready, you’ll always be late.

Finally, be who God made you to be. People would rather follow a leader who is always real than a leader who is always right.

Talk to God: God, I trust You to do more than I could ever do by my own power. Will you give me the wisdom, courage, and strength to take the next step?
