When You PraySample

When You Pray

DAY 3 OF 3

Prayer Has Purpose.

In order to effectively lead any organization, prayer is required. In order to lead your family, prayer is required. In order to effectively lead your business, prayer is required. In order to navigate the various seasons of life, prayer is required. In order to lead in government, prayer is required. Prayer is essential for stewarding and navigating every aspect of life.

Prayer is powerful and it has purpose. Before you make a move — pray and seek God. John 5:19 teaches us that Jesus Christ did not make a move unless He saw the Father do it first. Seek God before you presumptuously make a move. In all things — seek God. Submit your plans to Him. Submit your heart to Him and He will establish your path. Psalms 37:23 states, “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.” Ask God to align and to order your steps with His Will. Before you start that business, ask God for direction. Before you start that ministry, ask God for instruction. Before you make your next move, pray and ask God to guide your next steps.

Prayer is critical. Choose to seek God in every small thing and in every life-altering decision. You are not burdensome to God. He wants to hear from you. He wants to lead you. Matthew 7:7 states, “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:” As a good Father, God listens to His children. Choose to pray and ask God for wisdom. Choose to seek and search the scriptures for direction. Choose to pray and live by faith.

Action:

Choose to seek God in every circumstance. No matter the situation — choose to seek God. Take some time throughout your day and engage God. He wants to commune with you.
