Net Breaking Miracle

Harvest comes after obedience. Immediately after Simon and his team let down their net, they were able to reap a harvest that exceeded their expectations. It’s only after you obey God’s instruction that you’ll reap His results. Even after toiling all night, and catching nothing, Simon and his team had the strength to “launch again”. When God speaks, He gives you the grace to “cast again”. When God speaks, He’ll give you the strength to obey Him. Trust God’s Word even if you’re tired. You will reap God’s harvest — if you obey. 

Choose to obey God even if it seems difficult. There may be seasons when your toiling seems to extend beyond the night. Choose to obey God. Choose to obey His voice and launch again. This time it’ll be different. Choose to build with Christ. Choose to lead with Christ. Your expertise, experience, and exposure can only get you so far. When Christ speaks — you’ll go farther than you’ve ever imagined. When you obey Christ you’ll reap more than what you’ve calculated. When you obey God, He’ll exceed your wildest expectations and break your calculations. God will break the normal way of doing things. When you follow Him, He will break the norms of tradition. 

Like Simon, although you may be an expert, let God lead and launch you into the deep. Let God guide your ship with His Word. Though you’ve been toiling, choose to launch again into the deep. Obey God and let down your nets. Try it again. It’s time to get His results.
