DAY 5 OF 7

Before an army wages war with an enemy it must first know who it's confronting and what weapons will it be fighting against. If it ignores the capabilities and armaments of its enemy, the only thing it will accomplish is to lose the battle. This is the reason why so much money is spent to spy on the adversary. Failing at this can be very expensive.

However, many times believers ignore the devil thinking that in doing so they will not be attacked, or that it’s something they need not be concerned about. But he is our adversary and we must know what the weapons of his warfare are.

Our battle is against the devil and his army. He is our enemy. Should we then talk about him? Of course!

The devil is a defeated foe. But it is important for the Church to understand certain things about the adversary. It is one thing to glorify him seeing demons everywhere, and another altogether is to ignore him. It is very dangerous to believe that we are totally immune to his attacks. To suppose that Satan cannot touch us is a risk. He cannot affect us if we are planted in the Word.

We must live in holiness, steadfast in God's Word because the devil can take us if we live carelessly.

One of his main weapons is to instill fear over those of us that intend to expose or confront him. But everyone that resists him should know that he/she is authorized by God to order him in the name of Jesus. He may present fear in many ways and manifestations with the purpose of frightening you, but the devil is a liar and cannot ignore or disobey the authority in the name of Jesus.

Many a time the devil shows up and tries to intimidate me by saying: "You can't take me out". In occasions he crosses the stage, while I'm preaching or praying, to yell at me that I can't come against him. My answer is always the same: "I can't, but the one who is with me can, He can. Hallelujah! In the name of Jesus, get out Satan!". This is the authority that God has given us to do His work.
