Hallowed Be Thy NameSample
Jehovah Rohi: The Lord is my Shepherd.
Ps 23:1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
David was a shepherd and knew how diligently he used to care for his sheep. He protected them from wild animals, counted them to make sure none went astray and provided them with plentiful pastures.
While looking at the helplessness of the sheep, their inability to protect themselves, their varied fears and even their stupidity, David suddenly gets a revelation of his own condition.
Who cares for such sheep anyway? The Shepherd does
We are so like the sheep and if it wasn’t for the Lords care, if it wasn’t for the watchful eye of our Good Shepherd, we would have been utterly lost.
Isaiah 40:11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, and carry them in His bosom, and gently lead those who are with young.
What a gentle Shepherd we have! Long suffering and kind inspite of our many failures. Jesus, our Good Shepherd, not only takes care of His sheep, but He also paid the redemption price —His blood, to call them His own.
John 10:11 I am the good Shepherd: the good Shepherd gives His life for the sheep.
What does my Shepherd want from me? There are many voices trying to instil in us fear, anxiety, hatred, sorrow, materialism, evil desires and many such things. But there is a voice which is like no other. The voice of the Shepherd.
John 10:27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
He declares that His sheep can discern His voice. God wants you to hear His voice and to follow Him. Why? Because He knows which is the best path to take. He knows the ditches to avoid. He knows where the green pastures are. He knows where you can rest.
♥ Response: Thank You that I always have Your complete attention. Your eyes are on me to help me. Lord, forgive me my stubbornness when You were trying to lead me. I want to hear Your voice. In Jesus’ name.

Pray more leaders will be raised to take care of the harvest of souls, which is coming in. Pray for faithful and fruitful leaders to rise up.
Pray for Ps Vijay and Ps Tejal as they lead the church. Pray for all the leaders and their families. Pray the leadership will be full of the Holy Spirit and the wisdom of God.
