Walking In Victory Sample
I ́m a mom of three kids. So when I think about the concept of “having the memory of a goldfish”, my mind goes instantly to Nemo ́s father, Marlin, and his friend Dory, who instantly forgets about everything she ́s said. She suffers from short-term memory loss. And we do too.
Our memory is certainly longer than three seconds. But let ́s be honest. We, humans, are forgetful and we tend to dismiss easily from our minds the things God has made for us.
Joshua didn't want the people to forget what God had just made: He had open the Jordan as He opened the Red Sea forty years before! Reading this I think, how could people forget about something like this? But God has made great things in my life too. And, in the time of doubt or when struggles come to my life, I ́ve forgot about them instead of hanging on the things God has made before. The stones the twelve men wore were a memorial for them and for their children. Are you letting any memorials for the generations to come? Are you aware of the wonders of God and remember them and share them with your children and your grandchildren for them to know how big our God is? It ́s never too late to start sharing what God has done in our lives.
Heavenly Father, I praise You for the many things You ́ve done in my life. I thank You for all those moments when You helped me and cared about me. I want to treasure all those moments and not only hoard them in my mind but sharing with the next generation what You ́ve already done on my behalf. In Jesus name. Amen.

About this Plan
The book of Joshua teaches us to remember the promises God has given us and to trust God in everything He gives us to do. The same God who was with Joshua and the Israelites is with us today. He has given us the same promises and He wants us to claim the inheritance He has already given us. We pray this study helps you start walking in victory!
